Premier Diversity Officers

As diversity and inclusion has become a major business imperative, so too has the call to rank companies and officers on their efforts. Diversity Officers™ seeks individuals whose exemplary work provides a model for utilizing diversity best practices, leading organizational change, and making outstanding contributions to advancing the value of diversity and inclusion. The Premier Diversity Officer Award recognizes diversity officers for their advocacy of diverse talent and their ability is providing strategic direction to the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion. All Premier Diversity Officer Award candidates are assessed for their ability to:



  • drive and implement a diversity strategy within the public and/or private sectors.
  • sustain a record of contributions that helps advance DEI in their industry.
  • demonstrate influence within their organization in terms of retention, revenue, profitability, and/or strategic direction.
  • maintain a record of leadership and commitment to community well-being and/or high visibility in the community
  • exhibit a commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional excellence.

The deadline for award nominations is 2 months prior to the event or publication date. *Please note that award opportunities are filled on a rolling basis beginning as early as 8 months prior to the event date, so award openings may be filled prior to the nomination deadline.
